[FONT="]I mean, what did fans really expect? Eric Reid is known as a terrific NFL safety. His views on the league's NFL anthem policy are also understood, with the former teammate of Colin Kaepernick choosing to kneel in what he and many others deem a patriotic display.

[FONT="]On Sunday, Reid chose to kneel again prior to the Panthers home game against the New York Giants. As if this was anything new, some Panthers fans chose to criticize Reid for continuing his display in Carolina.

@Panthers I knew Eric Reid was a bad choice. A new owner who just pissed off the south. You better fix this. We don't play that way in the south. #StandForOurAnthem

with the new owner who thinks this is ok and then they signed this idiot, I am done with the Panthers. The new owner need to realize what area his team is located. I dont know who is the biggest idiot the new owner or reid.

Well, it's a shame they lost one fan. Looks like we'll be moving the team soon.

Eric Reid is nothing but a piece of crap. Panthers management, you better get rid of this scumbag because I'm no longer watching the team. I've been a fan since 1995 and I am done

If it annoys you so, just don't watch the National Anthem. Reid is a tremendous football player and a borderline Pro Bowl-caliber talent. Who cares if his views differ from yours?
